It’s all really interesting, and frightening.
The scary fact that we don’t know where our food is coming from, and what it does to get here. Vegan, vegetarian, meatatarian, whatever, our food is no longer the food we think it is. We are now consuming chemicals on a daily basis that have been proven to be the cause of much of the illnesses and such that we suffer from today. In the end it is our responsibility to take the control of our food into our own hands.
One way we can do this is my eating local and organic. Most states have websites that will show what local farmers markets are in your area. Localharvest.org is a great help in finding your local farmer’s markets. Just type in your zip code, and it will pull up all the ones in your area.
It’s time we knew what we were consuming, and who we are getting it from.
